Our company was founded in 1997. However, our leadership position and legacy of innovation in the horticulture industry date back more than 55 years, when our family patriarch, Bob Peters, established the Horticultural Services Company.  Bob tested soil for greenhouse
growers and made recommendations on how to produce the best crops.
Later, Bob introduced the original
Peters Professional® Plant Food –
one of the first blue water-soluble fertilizers.Today, as president of J.R. Peters, Inc., Jack Peters advances our family's tradition of delivering only the finest quality products and services. Visit the J.R. Peters manufacturing facilities and you will find individuals with decades of industry experience working in a state-of-the-art computerized production environment. Our formulation experts have over 55 years of experience. And, we now offer hundreds of formulations to fit all nutritional needs including technologies for greenhouse, nursery, turf, specialty agriculture, lawn and garden, and liquid / dry nutrient charges. Our corporate headquarters, manufacturing and analytical testing facilities are located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. |
